Back to Eden Permaculture History
Melissa, a native Floridian, has been gardening and growing food since early childhood. As the owner of a local nursery, she has dedicated several years to focusing on edible landscaping as well as medicinal and food-bearing plants. For the past six years, Melissa has been implementing permaculture techniques in her work. She is a member of the Florida Association of Native Nurseries (FANN) and the Florida Native Plant Society (FNPS). Additionally, she holds a Florida Friendly Landscaping Professional Certification and a Permaculture Design Certification inspired by the teachings of Bill Mollison, the founder of permaculture.
